Idiot fitness youtubers these days try to feed you a lie that say all that matter is calories in calories out. This is going to sound dark, but some of these dudes are literally going to die in 10-15 years. Everyone these days are so obsessed with cutting. What are you cutting? What muscle is even there?
The first key is to lean bulk. That means to eat slightly over maintenance. Use this: https://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html to figure out and add 200 calories. Also have about 1.1 g protein per lbs of weight. Keep the diet simple. Do not eat random shit. The rule of thumb is to eat unprocessed things. For example instead of french frys eat potatos.
As for the workout, if you have not started just do 100 pushups in the morning and 100 in the night just to get started. After do your own research with people like Jeff Nippard to get workouts that target specific muscle groups. Take into account your height, goals, and ethnicity to tailor your workout accordingly.
